About Monarchia Winery

Monarchia Winery is located in Eger, a region set apart from the other Hungarian wine-regions by its centuries-old winemaking traditions and an international reputation for its outstanding terroir, both of which are hallmarks of quality and excellence. We firmly believe that high-quality winemaking requires dedication, hard work, advanced planning and long-term investments in both the vineyards and the winery. With the international trends in the wine industry and Eger’s unique properties in mind, we are placing an increased focus upon red wine varietals, with special regard to Pinot Noir as well as the Kékfrankos (Blaufrankisch), Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah grape varieties. Additionally, we will produce world class Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Grüner Veltliner and Furmint. We are confident that with our continued hard work, undying devotion and unfailing passion, Monarchia Winery will continue to be one of the top wineries in the Eger region.
