Situated on the street of the most historic local cellars in the region, our grape-processing and winemaking facilities are set up on Verőszala Street. Monarchia’s head-winemaker, Dr. Tamás Pók, who received his degrees in Hungary and has experience in the United States (California) and other countries, has been one of the leaders in the Hungarian wine industry. Dr. Pók’s strict adherence to quality winemaking ensures a rich selection of artisanal, exclusive, premium-quality wines. Renowned across the United States for his award winning wines, Bruce Walker, managing director and co-owner of California-based Starry Night Winery, is a partner and provides assistance in our shared goals. Flexibly combining the traditional with state of the-art cultivation methods and modern winemaking techniques, our winery produces a diverse variety of wines from light, crispy whites to full-bodied, rich reds.
